Course Description

The Jewelry Crochet Workshop focuses on teaching basic crochet techniques for creating a silver piece. Each participant will use the techniques covered to create their own exclusive piece. Participants can choose to create either a silver pendant or a pair of silver earrings, which they will be able to take home. This choice must be made at the time of registration. Prerequisites: None Skill Level: Beginner Maximum Number of Students: 4 Duration: 4 hours Single Session Course Objective: To create a pendant or a pair of earrings using basic crochet techniques with silver wire and gold-plated silver wire adapted for metal crochet. In a relaxed and collaborative environment, participants will explore various techniques (crochet stitches such as single crochet and fan stitch) and apply them to design a composition for a pendant or earrings in silver. Techniques Covered Include: - Crochet stitches with metal wire - Wire thickness and malleability - Creating original compositions - Finishing techniques for wire ends Included: - All necessary tools - Raw materials (silver structure for earrings or ring, and silver or gold-plated silver wire for pendant or earrings) - Theory and technical support to understand the techniques - Certificate of participation Final Piece: A finished pendant or pair of earrings made by the student to take home.
